To express the philosophy behind Olive Circle, we created a tarot card that embodies our vision of growth, balance, and renewal.

Tarot has long served as a symbolic language for exploring the human experience. Through archetypes and imagery, it offers a framework for reflection, helping people observe patterns, emotions, and possibilities with greater clarity.

The Olive Circle card was designed as a visual archetype of the journey we support - one of self-exploration, transformation, and conscious evolution.

Rather than predicting the future, the card represents a way of understanding cycles of change and reconnecting with inner guidance.

Each element of the card reflects a dimension of this process.

The Symbolism of the Olive Circle

The Olive Circle Card brings together symbols drawn from different traditions and archetypal languages. Together they tell a story about balance, renewal, and the integration of complementary energies that shape human growth.

The Circle: Cycles of Renewal

Her attire displays the feminine symbol linked to Venus (Aphrodite for the Greeks): love, beauty, and generative power. The circle above the cross unites spirit and matter, reflecting conscious creation.

A serpent winds around her arm, evoking initiation, primal energy, and rebirth. It recalls the Ouroboros - the serpent consuming its tail - symbolising the eternal return and the transformative force of Kundalini energy. Her tied-back hair signals determination and disciplined power.

The Woman in Blue

The woman in blue represents spiritual awareness, contemplation, and freedom.

Blue is the colour of depth, wisdom, and protection. Stars on her attire symbolise guidance, destiny, and hope. Her flowing hair reflects openness and spiritual freedom.

If the red figure is the creative force in action, the blue figure is consciousness observing and reflecting. Together they embody matter and spirit reconciled, generating an energy of genuine care and protection.

The Dog and the Cat: visible and invisible forces

Alongside the women are two archetypal animals:

• The dog symbolises loyalty, protection, and unconditional love. In ancient Egypt, Anubis guided souls beyond the threshold; in Greek tradition, Hecate was accompanied by dogs. The dog embodies active, solar energy.
• The cat embodies mystery, independence, and intuition. Sacred to Bastet, it guards the unseen. It represents feminine, lunar energy.

Together, they illustrate the integration of visible and invisible forces, instinct and intuition, heart and mind.
